Position Overview: A successful Bookkeeping Specialist takes ownership of the critical first step in creating accurate financial records for ATBS clients. A Bookkeeper is responsible for inputting data and information from all client materials as well as researching and responding to Client Accounting Inquiry requests.

Significant Responsibilities:

  • Consistently code and enter client settlements and receipts to the ATBS database in a timely and accurate manner in adherence to established procedures
  • Proficiently handle any materials contained within a client’s scanned documents that need to be routed to another area in accordance with established procedures
  • Thoroughly research all concerns presented via Client Accounting Inquiry requests and make needed corrections within a maximum two-day turnaround
  • Quickly respond to weekly query research requests and make corrections when necessary in a timely and accurate manner
  • Consistently search for opportunities to take on other duties and assist with special projects

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and 10-Key, and ability to quickly learn our customer management software (CMS), Salesforce
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to effectively deal with challenges as they arise in the course of daily job functions

Education and/or Experience:

  • Previous bookkeeping experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • An Associate’s degree or progress toward a Bachelor's degree is preferred
