Position Overview: A successful Senior Tax Accountant takes accountability for the entire accounting and tax process at ATBS. A Senior Tax Accountant is the main point of contact, provides insight and recommendation to ensure client success, and reviews a high volume of tax returns. In addition, a Senior Tax Accountant mentors and manages Entry Level Accountants to support their professional development.

Significant Responsibilities:
- Effectively review a high volume of financial statements and federal/state tax returns completed by the Tax Accountant for accuracy, completeness, and due diligence
- Proactively manage associates by providing feedback and training
- Accurately provide tax return results and tax recommendations to clients in a positive and helpful manner
- Passionately provide high-quality customer service by assisting in answering clients’ questions and gathering tax information
- Actively support other departments and contribute to the growth of ATBS

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- An equivalent combination of education and experience in business may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of tax experience preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting and income taxes is desired
- Knowledge of federal and state income tax forms and tax rules and regulations
- Previous experience using CCH tax software is a plus, but not required
