Position Overview: A successful Entry Level Entity Accountant is responsible for providing high-quality services to our small business (S-corporation and partnership) clients. This position performs accounting for business transactions using documents provided by clients. Additionally, the Entry Level Entity Accountant prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and assists with payroll processing. A supervisor provides mentorship and reviews the Entry Level Entity Accountant’s work for continuing professional development.

Significant Responsibilities:

  • Accurately account for client business transactions into the ATBS financial reporting database in a timely manner
  • Proficiently reconcile bank and credit card statements, and revenue accounts
  • Effectively generate balance sheets and profit and loss statements for supervisor review before releasing financial information to clients
  • Diligently process payroll and prepare accurate reports for clients
  • Consistently complete basic administrative duties related to tax filings
  • Passionately provide high-quality customer service by assisting in answering clients’ questions

Education and/or Experience:

  • Notable progress toward an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Significant course work in accounting is beneficial
  • Previous customer service and accounting experience is beneficial, but not required
